Bands and Restrictions

One of the things that have greatly affected the world of Spicy Content creators is all the Bans and Restrictions the various platforms have in place.  These bans and restrictions do not just apply to images but also to words and topics.

If you are serious about making a business as a Spicy Content Creator you will need to become familiar with all the platforms you can use to make money with your content and as we discussed in “Marketing 101 for Spicy Content Creators” these platforms become your sales channels.

Sophieladder.com has a google doc cross-referencing all the major platforms and just what their restrictions and bans are.  At the time of this writing, Sophieladder.com has graciously made it available for all Spicy Content Creators.  Click here to view the document!    I am not sure how long it will be available or perhaps the forces at be will take it down.  Just in case I have made an archived copy that you can access by clicking here! –  But first, visit the live link as Sophie Ladder works very hard at keeping it up to date. This document is so valuable and will save you tons of time. If you have a moment send a note of thanks to Sophieladder.com.

If you want to know a little history of why all these bans and restrictions are in place then check out Episode 8: Inside Porn’s Start Chamber a Hot Money podcast by Pushkin – July 19, 2022

I hope you all have an OMG moment when you look at all the ban words and topics that are banned and restricted on these platforms.  If you had time to listen to the podcast mentioned above you will find that the payment card companies and banks are behind the bans and restrictions and behind them are the organizations like NCOSE formally Morality in Media.

Now after you have spent hours and hours scouring over all the bans and restrictions in place and you are about to just throw in the towel and give up STOP!  These bans and restrictions apply only to these platforms.  They do not apply to your own website! Let me say that again – these bans and restriction do not apply to your own website!

Remember your site is your brand.  As long as all the content you make available on your site is your content then there are no bans or restrictions.  With two exceptions, they are anything to do with child porn or Beastiality.  you should stay away from.  But anything else is fair game for you to post and monetize on your own site.  So want to post a video of you smoking a joint, while masturbating with a vibrator when you are on your period you can do just that.

Key things to remember:

  • You must have your own website!
  • All the content you place on your website should be your created content!
  • You can only post content of yourself!  If you post content that has other people you must maintain documentation on them that includes proof of age, proof that they freely participated, and a release form stating that they gave you the right to put the content on your website.
